1766-L32BXB Allen Bradley

The Allen-Bradley 1766-L32BXB is a part of the MicroLogix 1400 Programmable Logic Controller series. It features EtherNet/IP, online editing capabilities, and a built-in LCD. The LCD features a backlight for setting network configuration and viewing the controller and I/O status. The 1766-L32BXB controller requires 24 Volts DC input power and has battery-backed RAM. It supports 32 digital I/O points which are Twelve (12) digital fast 24 Volts DC inputs, Eight (8) digital 24 Volts DC inputs, Six (6) relay outputs, Three (3) fast 24 Volts DC outputs, and Three (3) normal 24 Volts DC outputs. It has a dimension of 3.5 x 7.08 x 3.43 inches and a weight of 2 pounds. For communication, it has an isolated RS-232/485 port, an Ethernet port, and a non-isolated RS-232 port. This Discrete I/O variety enables the 1766-L32BXB to be used in application with mixed input voltage and mixed electrical loads. It also allows this controller to be used in applications with counting, totalizing and simple motion controls. Additionally, this controller may also provide the high-speed signals through the embedded high-speed output channels.

The 1766-L32BXB is also provided with a 10KB user program memory and another 10KB for user data. It supports recipe and log data. It is also embedded with a real-time clock for use in applications that require time-based or calendar-based actuations such as control of equipment sets and automatic mode change. This controller also has an internal battery back-up for memory retention of the Random Access Memory (RAM) and a back-up memory module for a non-volatile memory area. The high-speed input channels support up to Six (6) channels with100 kHz frequency. This controller also supports Pulse Train Output (PTO) with frequency of 100 kHz and Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) with frequency of 40 kHz.
