he guy that does PLC stuff for us no longer with the company. We are not a company specializing in PLC, but we have a product line that uses PLC that we no longer support. The one client that still uses this product really needs the PLC to replace it. It’s an AB 1763-L16BBB with a 1763-MM1 module installed. The parts are discontinued, so we will have to purchase from a non-authorized dealer.
We have the PLC program on our file server, so we just need to upload the file into the PLC. Is it hard to do this from scratch as in we don’t have the computer with the software to upload it?
Are there contractors in the Houston, TX area that do this for a fee? I guess this should be a simple task for those who in this line of work. Thanks.
