Allen-Bradley 1794-ADN FLEX I/O DeviceNet Adapter Module
Allen-Bradley 1794-ADN is a FLEX I/O DeviceNet adapter that links up to eight Allen-Bradley 1794 FLEX I/O modules to a DeviceNet network at 125, 250, or 500 Kbps.
Overview
The 1794-ADN is the leftmost module of a FLEX I/O rack. It mounts on a DIN rail or panel, converts DeviceNet telegrams into FlexBus traffic for the I/O modules, and is powered from 24 V DC with a built-in 640 mA @ 5 V DC FlexBus supply. Node addressing uses front-mounted thumbwheel switches (00…63), and the baud rate is detected automatically at power-up. Red/green Mod/Net and I/O status LEDs make troubleshooting straightforward.
